What still has a cap
Free accounts stop after a few new documents in a day. Unlimited removes that cap and raises upload size.
Cloud playback and export still use credits on every plan.
Transcription after signup
Recordings need an account so they stay in your library next to the text. Creating the document does not spend credits. Eco on desktop does not either.
When to upgrade
Move to Unlimited when the daily cap gets in the way, not on day one. Most people know after a week of real files.
