Some Speechdash users work with notes they would rather not scatter across random tools. This FAQ is a pointer, not a contract. Read Privacy and Terms for the legal text.
Where is Speechdash hosted?
Speechdash is designed and operated from France, with EU hosting.
Who can see my files?
Documents live in your account library. People you share a login with can see them, which is why we ask you not to share passwords. You can delete files from the library.
Does chat leave the document?
Ask questions stays on the imported file. It is not an open web search.
Do you train a public model on my uploads?
Treat the Privacy policy as the source of truth. This article will not invent a training claim.
What about medical or legal files?
You can import notes you already have. Speechdash is not a certified medical, legal, or court reporting service. Do not treat an AI transcript as an official record.
How do I close the account?
See the Help Center on deleting your account, and cancel billing in Settings if you have a paid plan.
