Імпортуйте веб-сторінку та слухайте багато мовою
Вставте публічний URL, очистіть текст статті та слухайте за допомогою природних голосів з автоматичним визначенням мови.
You do not need a PDF to start listening. Paste a public article URL on the Speechdash homepage and the app fetches readable text, detects the language, and prepares sentence boundaries for highlighting and navigation.
URL import is useful when the content already lives online: a news story, a public syllabus, a long essay you bookmarked months ago.
When URL import is the right choice
- News and blog posts you want to hear during a commute
- Public course pages with reading lists or lecture notes
- Long essays that are easier to finish with audio than on screen
- Multilingual articles where automatic detection saves manual setup
If the page is behind a login or paywall, Speechdash cannot fetch it. Copy the text manually or export a PDF from the source when that is allowed.
What happens after you paste the link
Speechdash retrieves the page content, strips common layout noise, and structures the body text for playback. Language is detected among supported languages. Sentence boundaries power highlighting, skip controls, and the playback bar.
Importing a public URL does not use credits by itself. Once the document is ready, Eco playback stays free and unlimited.
Clean up before you press play
Web imports often carry sidebars, related-article links, or duplicate headings. Open the editor and:
- Delete navigation blocks and footer text
- Merge broken paragraphs if the fetch split them awkwardly
- Fix headings so chapter breaks make sense when you skim
Two minutes of editing usually beats ten minutes of skipping sentences during playback.
Listen, then refine
Start in Eco mode on a desktop browser. Pick a voice, set speed, and follow highlighting. If a section is too dense, slow to 0.5×. If you are reviewing material you already know, 2× works well.
Use Ask questions sparingly on paragraphs you still do not understand. Chat messages use credits; Eco listening does not.
Credits vs free listening
| Step | Typical cost |
|---|---|
| Fetching and preparing the URL | No credits for the import itself |
| Eco playback in the browser | Free, unlimited |
| Cloud playback on mobile | Uses credits |
| Audio export | Billed at generation time |
For a first try, pick a single article under ten minutes of reading time. See getting started for the full first-session flow.
Tips for better results
- Choose the canonical article URL, not a print or AMP variant with stripped layout
- Public
.eduand documentation pages usually import cleanly - If detection picks the wrong language, change it in the rename dialog before generating audio
Try it now
Copy one link from your reading list, paste it on the homepage, edit out obvious clutter, and listen in Eco mode. Most people are hearing their first article within a few minutes.
